artist statement

I was born to create, make people smile and inspire others.

After more than 30 years in the corporate world as a Textile Designer, Creative Director and Chief Curator, I’ve returned to the roots of what drew me to this field in the first place—my love for fabric, thread, and the tactile beauty of handmade work. Through Artsy Fibers, I now channel that experience into creating fiber art that is deeply inspired by the natural world.

I work with textiles as my medium-sewing, stitching, dyeing, and layering to create one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect organic forms, textues, and colors found in nature. Each piece is an exploration of rhythm and detail, inviting a sense of wonder and connection.

My goal is not only to create art, but also to empower others to explore their own creativity. I’m developing patterns and projects so fellow makers can craft their own unique textile works—because I believe art should be both personal and accessible.
